Analysis

This analysis was used to calculate for a impact such as a crash at 35 mph with a .5 sec impulse.

This analysis was used to calculate the impact from a 7.5ft vertical drop onto firm snow.

Using the amount of compressive force, the properties of the metal this analyisis was used to solve for the required cross sectional load.

This analysis was used to determine the cross sectional area throught the segment AA and BB.

This was used to sole for the cross sectional area needed to support both crash and virtical drop forces.

This was used to solve for the cross sectional area section B since it was the cross section taking the impact on intense loadings.

This was used to solve for the cross sectional area of stainless steel rod of a 3/16" diameter and solve for if it will fail given the previously calculated impacts.

This analysis was used to calculate the stance angle to correct for stance width the bindings would have to mounted to the split board during ride mode.

Solving for force it would take to buckle the boot into the bindings.

Solving for the cross sectional area through BB.

Solving for the cross sectional area through the section CC.

This analysis was used to determine if the bending stress would exceed the limits of section AA.
